Hey y'all!
Sooo apparently there was some miscommunication as some people understood from my previous message that I wasn't going to write anything at all anymore. Just to be clear, I will keep writing, I'll just do it about once a week instead of every (other) day.
Anyways, I did do some stuff the past few days.
Friday after school we went to Charlie Lake where we got some ice cream and walked a bit.
On Saturday we first met Scott (our host father) and Jacob (his son) because it was then that they came back from their golfing trip. Jacob wasn't for a very long time, but he seemed like a nice person just like his parents.
Also on Saturday, we went to something called the block party. It was basically a closed-off street where there were a lot of stalls from different organizations like the college, gas station, support for patients & family & friends regarding cancer... It was quite fun as all the stalls handed out a lot of free stuff. There were also some food trucks and stalls where you could buy things at the end of the street, but we stuck to the free things.
As for school, I'm slowly but surely getting into the rhythm. Like I think I said before, I start my day off with Foundations of Mathematics. The first bell rings at 8:40, and five minutes later, by the time the second bell goes, we have to be in the class. After 80 minutes the first lesson block is over and we have five minutes until the first bell goes that announces the second lesson block. Another five minutes and my Fitness and Conditioning lesson begins. After those 80 minutes we have lunch till about 12:20. After that, I have Physics after which I close off the day with Stagecraft (Theater Production). The school then ends at 15:10.
