Greetings everyone
Once again my apologies for the long wait. In between getting sick (again), underestimating the amount homework and getting homesick with all related consequences I had a hard time getting myself to work on my blog. But spring has (finally) arrived and I have an extented weekend so eventually I got to writing. Enjoy :)

Living in a more rural part of Canada means you can do a lot of moose-sighting, even from right across the street!
It also means that every so often you get a Presidential Alert, and sometimes that's at 1 in the night. (The children talked about in this alert were found and are safely back home)

As days get longer they also get warmer, and after a long, warm schoolday there's nothing better than some ice cream. Unfortunaly the ice cream sandwich disagreed, and decided to remove the wire behind my teeth that was placed there to keep them from shifting.
When days get longer the sun rises and sets in different places than before, and now both the sunrise and sunset are almost completely visible from my window. Having the sunset is nice, because I can take pretty pictures before I go to bed. Having the sunrise is a little less pleasant, as the light wakes me up around 5 in the morning.

This weekend our hostparents brought us along to a garden center. There, we walked around in greenhouses filled with all sorts of flowers, vegetables and herbs. Afterwards we got a Canadian delicacy - a snow-cone - to cool down.

Last weekend we went to a friends house because our hostparents had to move one of their kids out of their college dorm. We helped with the spring clean of our friends' family and I temporarily dyed my hair. I don't have a good picture of the hair dye, but I do have an amazing picture of one of their cats.

As mentioned before I had quite some assignments for school the past few weeks. Aside from writing I luckily also got to do some fun things, including costumizing pants and painting minifigures.

Like I mentioned in the description we went to do archery with the international exchange students. At the start we just shot in two alternating groups, but after a while the instructor made it into a competition. We had to shoot 1 versus 1, the winners having to go against each other and so did the losers. Eventually it ended with an ultimate winner and an ultimate loser. I do feel kinda bad for the 'ultimate loser', but I am glad that I was the ultimate winner. Maybe archery is something I should pursue after all.

That was it for this blog, I hope you enjoyed and I wish you a nice spring.
Sun-kissed regards, Cupcake
